Archive for ear infections dog

This was written after several smelly and expensive bouts of ear infections in both members of my Canine family. Ear Infection dog syndrome of the yeast variety was relentless.

…..The uncomfortable feeling I had watching my dogs in discomfort
(just imagine a maddening itch in your ear and now imagine having
paws instead of hands!),

…… the annoyance at having to drive to a vet to give my dogs man
made chemically created drugs at an incredible mark up to how much
it costs to produce.

…..On top of that it merely provided a temporary relief, the
problem wasn’t fixed at a root level.

It kept coming back. Ear infection dog syndrome. (EIDS)

….. I began to think it was all a set up. Think about it, millions
of dog owners, a temporary and expensive drug and no research going
into solving the actual problem? Ironically this is the case in the
Human world too and we’re still buying it!

…..But hey, that’s another topic. Today we’re going to save the
canine world instead…..

Now you know the way things are. If you dog has pointed ears then
they’re less likely to get yeast infections but more likely to get
infections caused by debris, and if he or she has floppy ears then
it’s vice versa. Typical. Some dogs have hairy ears which are very
susceptible to yeast infections. Dogs that swim a lot and lead an
active outdoor life, will be in danger. What’s more the yeast is
ever present in the dogs body and is ready for action on any number
of triggers. Dogs like humans have ups and downs and it’s often the
downs when the yeast monster strikes.

Now if your dog has a yeast infection (Ear Infection Dog Syndrome) it’s going to be pretty
obvious, not only will he or she let you know but the smell will
confirm any doubts. The infection comes on fast. Some vets will
prescribe ear drops others will give you antibiotics. Antibiotics
kill the bad as well as any of the good bacteria reducing your pets
resistance to future attacks. This is not good.

But guess what? The drops your vet gives you as a standard for
ear infection dog syndrome of the yeast kind is actually something
you can make in 20 seconds with the contents of your kitchen?
Seriously. There’s a lot of information out there. The facts about
what kills yeast are very well established. Look, if you want to

yeast infections click the link below.
